Three years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and told to go on medication. Determined to heal myself without meds, I refused the drugs and instead joined and quit several gyms before finally finding the right trainer - Jeff Loveland. My bone density curve is now on an upward swing, and UCONN Health says to keep doing what I'm doing. I feel better, look better, stand up straight, and continue to sing Jeff's praises. Jeff has been my personal trainer since 2015 to gain strength, correct areas of concern, and condition for my sport. After leaving for college where I play a Division 1 sport, I always return during my breaks to work with Jeff. He fine tunes what's needed and his plan for me has improved my game. I had rotator cuff issues that warranted PT. It was fixed, but I was warned that the problem would return. Prior to starting my program at Loveland Strength & Fitness, I felt that I had a pretty good understanding of “fitness," but needed a little more structure and accountability to make it to the gym.
